Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking an on-call Residential Relief Staff in Hawaii to support residential programs. You will work under the supervision of the Program Manager and perform essential duties to maintain safety, order, and program integrity.

Responsibilities include crisis counseling, documentation, and coordination of activities, with emphasis on engaging youth and upholding program standards. This is an on-call, non-exempt position requiring flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required and background clearances may be required.
• Experience with at-risk youth is preferred for the role.
• Possession of a valid Hawaii Driver's License and TB clearance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure upkeep of the facility to meet program and licensing standards.
• Maintain resident and program files with accuracy.
• Enforce program rules and assist with resident needs on an ongoing basis.
• Transport residents to school, work, and appointments as needed.
• Provide crisis counseling and support to youth and families on duty.
• Assist in planning group activities and monitor daily reports.
