Job summary

Road To Responsibility, Inc. seeks Residential Support Staff to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in living more independently at home and in the community. You will provide hands-on care, guidance, and support to promote daily living skills and meaningful participation.

You will work with a dedicated team to implement individualized plans, assist with appointments, document progress, and advocate for those you support. A positive, empathetic approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all state trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).
• Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance as needed.
• Assist with and attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for those you support.
