Job summary

The Arc of Union County Inc. in Springfield, NJ seeks a Support Professional, Residential to provide safe, dependable support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will transport clients to programs and community outings and implement behavioral/habilitation plans.

A high school diploma, 21+ years old, and a NJ driver's license with a clean driving record are required. Background checks are performed; you will work indoors and outdoors, supporting clients to achieve independence

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license with abstract (not exceeding 5 points).
• Complete State/Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide transport of service recipients to and from program and community outings.
• Implement and facilitate behavioral/habilitation plans.
• Teach and monitor skills development and provide support and mentoring in a person-centered approach.
