Job summary

CPM is seeking compassionate Residential Support Staff to join our team in Connecticut. This role offers First and Second shift opportunities, with both Full-Time and Part-Time options.

You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, helping them build daily living skills and pursue independence. Responsibilities include providing person-centered care, documenting progress, transporting to appointments and activities, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Connecticut DDS systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centered care and support.
• Implement goals and strategies per DDS guidelines and CPM policies.
• Assist individuals with developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Document progress and program outcomes per teaching strategies.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, programs, and community events.
• Maintain and document vehicle mileage, service and safety records.
• Report emergencies or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Accurately document behavioral, medical, and program-related information.
