Partnersforcommunity in Trumbull, CT seeks compassionate Residential Support Staff to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will support daily living skills, independence, and community participation.

Available First and Second Shifts with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Candidates must obtain DDS-related certifications within six months and maintain them throughout employment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Connecticut DDS systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain documentation.
• DDS Medication Certification, First Aid, CPR, and PMT certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.

Mansioni

• Provide respectful, person-centered care and support.
• Implement individual goals and support strategies per DDS guidelines and CPM policies.
• Assist individuals with developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Document progress according to teaching strategies.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, programs, and community events.
• Maintain vehicle mileage, service, and safety records.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and submit progress notes and orders.
• Accurately document behavioral, medical, and program-related information.
• Respond calmly to emergencies or crisis situations.
• Report serious incidents, safety concerns, and changes in condition to supervisor.
• Complete other duties assigned by the Program Coordinator or management team.
