Corporation for Public Management seeks compassionate Residential Support Staff to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The role focuses on strengthening daily living skills, promoting independence, and participation in the community.

Shifts include First and Second, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; CT DDS knowledge is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• DDS Medication Certification, First Aid, CPR, and PMT certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respectful, person-centered care and support.
• Implement individual goals and support strategies per DDS guidelines and CPM policies.
• Assist individuals with developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Document progress and goals using established teaching strategies.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, programs, and community events.
• Maintain vehicle mileage, service, and safety records.
• Report incidents and changes in the individual's condition to supervisors.
• Document behavioral, medical, and program-related information.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and appropriately.
• Complete duties assigned by the Program Coordinator or management.
