Job summary

I Am Boundless in Ohio is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide direct programming and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, programming, and wellness while ensuring safety, dignity, and respect.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, adherence to policies, and collaboration with a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including spoken and written.
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing (training provided).
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping support or other assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Support residents in daily living activities and promote wellbeing and safety.
