Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services seeks Residential Services Aides at Selinsgrove Center. You will help individuals strengthen daily living skills and support their progress in a compassionate, team-based environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-care assessments, implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, documenting records, and helping enhance the therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program or six months paid care experience.
• Must meet PA residency requirements.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Background checks and medical/drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with self-care assessments, training plans, and related procedures to gather accurate information about residents.
• Support active treatment by implementing specified training plans.
• Record and report information to help maintain and improve individual plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to communicate progress and strengths.
• Document information in assigned records to support care continuity.
• Assist in selecting and placing furniture and personal items to improve the therapeutic environment.
