Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking Residential Services Aides at Selinsgrove Center to provide hands-on training and support that build confidence, independence, and daily living skills. You will work with a team to help individuals grow, connect with others, and make meaningful progress in a structured setting.

This role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to perform essential duties in a full-time schedule with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program or equivalent Commonwealth job title as determined by administration.
• PA residency requirement and ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan Support: Assist with assessments and training plans to inform individual strengths, likes, and needs.
• Training Support: Help implement IHP/ISP and conduct training activities for skill development.
• Progress Monitoring: Record and report information to update plans and services.
• Team Participation: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to strengthen treatment.
• Record Keeping: Document information in unit records to aid communication.
• Environment Support: Help enhance living areas by managing personal items for therapy.
