Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Wallingford, PA is seeking a Residential Aide to provide support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home.

The position offers a pay rate of $17.50/hour. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience is required. Clearances include PA child abuse, criminal and fingerprint checks, and Medicaid/Medicare exclusion verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure/Certifications: None required.
• Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, in accordance with individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure the safety of the person served, including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy.
