Job summary

Latham Centers, a nationally recognized leader in supporting children and adults with complex special needs, is seeking a dedicated Residential Supervisor in Brewster, MA. You will manage an interdisciplinary team to provide residential support, ensuring a positive, healthy, and safe living environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and one year of supervisory experience preferred, or five years of residential treatment experience with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
• Three years of residential treatment experience with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• CPI/CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration training provided if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee service planning and required documentation.
• Develop outcome measures through data collection (IEPs, life skills assessments, etc.).
• Maintain program compliance with DMR, OCCS, and QUEST requirements, including staff training, behavior management plans, reports, and evaluations.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with staff and administration.
• Provide emergency backup coverage for the program.
• Actively participate in team meetings and supervision.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate staff training schedules and maintain training records.
• Assist with program development and design.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Children’s Services.
