Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family member, seeks a Supervisor Residential to lead a direct care team in a community-based residential program. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering high-quality supports to individuals served.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services, 1–2 years of related experience, and valid CPR/First Aid certification with a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver's license, car registration and auto insurance.
• State licensure as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Compassionate, reliable and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities and appointments for individuals receiving support, implementing programs and services.
• Coordinate, supervise, maintain daily activities and schedules for Direct Care Staff and oversee program operation.
• Ensure onboarding, orientation and ongoing training delivered.
• Provide input and feedback in hiring, corrective action, performance evaluations, and termination decisions.
• Foster positive relations with case managers, referral agents and lobbies on behalf of individuals receiving care.
• Maintain relationships with families, guardians, and implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals served while ensuring living environments and program activities comply with regulatory requirements.
