Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct support staff and observe on-duty performance, providing immediate feedback as needed.
• Coordinate program training for new employees or volunteers at assigned locations.
• Review weekly documentation (support notes, data sheets, MARs, menus, safety reports, logs) for accuracy and quality.
• Address deficits in documentation with staff to regain compliance.
• Relay concerns to management when necessary.

OutReach Residential Services is seeking a self-motivated person to be our Residential Supervisor. OutReach Residential Services has been in business since 2004, providing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home environment.The Residential Supervisor is responsible for being proactive and conducting immediate follow-through to problem solving events that transpire within the programThe Residential Supervisoris responsible for routinely observing the work of other direct support professionals on duty, and at their level, may make immediate corrections in staff performance and relay concerns to management as needed.The Residential Supervisormust maintain confidentiality at all times as related to individual services and ORS, Inc. employees.The Residential Supervisorwill be responsible for coordinating the program training for new employees or volunteers at assigned locations.The Residential Supervisoris responsible for the weekly review of standard documentation including support notes, data sheets, medication administration records, menus, safety reports and community activity logs, constantly assessing for accuracy and quality of services provided.When there are deficits noted in the documentation the LDSP may address the issue with the staff person responsible in order to regain compliance.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree from an accredited college in a human services field or considerable experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Considerable experience supervising and managing the performance of subordinate staff along with strong interpersonal skills to interact with various service providers, management and legal guardians is required. The qualified incumbent must be able to communicate clearly and effectively the company’s mission and philosophy. This position will require training in CPR/FA, TOVA and medication administration.
