Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. seeks a Residential Specialist to support teenage girls in a level II therapeutic group home setting. You will work with participants and staff to maintain the house, ensure program standards, and promote a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include advocating for residents, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and facilitating life skills groups to help participants reintegrate into the community with greater self-reliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in a residential program and/or human services-related field is required.

• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate levels of treatment for residents.
• Facilitates life skills groups when assigned.
• Assists participants to reintegrate into the community with employment and housing opportunities and increases self-autonomy.

Job Purpose:- Our Turning Point Ranch is a level II therapeutic group home for girls ages 11-17 who exhibit distinct emotional and behavioral challenges that can best be addressed in a group home setting. The Residential Specialist works cooperatively to assist female adolescents in need of specialized therapeutic group services. The Residential Specialist will work directly with participants and other staff daily to maintain the house and ensure program standards are being met. The Resident Specialist is responsible for always maintaining integrity. All duties will be performed in a courteous manner, allowing participants and staff to maintain a healthy sense of self-worth while maintaining a safe environment.
