LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. is seeking a Residential Specialist for the Anthony House in Mt Dora, FL. This full-time night shift role provides supervision, safety, and structured support to residents within a residential program.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in residential or behavioral health care, with skills in crisis intervention, teamwork, and confidential documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in residential or behavioral health facility.
• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules and guidelines.
• F acilitate and support daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities.
• Implement individualized care plans and document residents' progress and any incidents during the shift.
• Collaborate with other staff members to provide consistent and comprehensive care.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to residential care.

Job Purpose

The Residential Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support and supervision to residents during the assigned shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes the well-being and personal development of individuals within the residential program.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules and guidelines.
