Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Residential Specialist in Santee, CA to provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. You’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

The schedule is Thursday to Saturday, 2p-10p, with hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $20.65. Ideal candidates are compassionate, adaptable, team players with strong communication, reliability, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance and clean driving record.
• A passion for making a difference!

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed or undressed, mobility and organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.

About the Role:

As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

The schedule for this position is (Thurs- Sat 2p-10p)

The hourly pay is $20.00 to $20.65.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
