Job summary
SpartanX is seeking experienced Solar Installers to join our residential field operations team, installing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems and ensuring quality standards from arrival through completion.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in solar installation, roofing, or residential construction and be comfortable working outdoors on rooftops and ladders in varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential solar installation, roofing, or construction.
- Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in varying weather.
- Ability to read basic plans, layouts, measurements, and project documentation.
- Strong safety and quality workmanship mindset.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Install residential rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Layout and install racking, modules, attachments, flashing, and related components.
- Safely perform roof penetrations, sealing, and weatherproofing.
- Read and follow site plans, layouts, and project documentation.
- Assist with system wiring and electrical components within scope.
- Maintain an organized and safe job site throughout installation.
