Job summary

SpartanX is hiring experienced Solar Installers to join our residential field operations team. You will install residential rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems, lay out racking and modules, and ensure weatherproofing and code compliance.

The role requires comfort on rooftops, operating ladders, and working in a production-driven environment. You’ll collaborate with electricians and field leads to complete projects safely and efficiently, maintaining high quality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar installation, roofing, electrical, or residential construction preferred.
• Residential solar installation experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install residential rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Layout and install racking, modules, attachments, flashing, and related components.
• Safely perform roof penetrations, sealing, and weatherproofing.
• Read site plans, layouts, and project documentation; assist with wiring as needed.
• Maintain an organized and safe job site; work with field leadership to ensure quality.
