Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Skills Trainer South to provide one-on-one supervision and skills training to clients per treatment plans within a residential facility. The role involves coordinating with staff, maintaining records, and supporting life skills development.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and completion of CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and MANDT within the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and MANDT within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and skills training as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team and team meetings.
• Conduct in-home skills training visits to develop independent living skills.
• Coordinate daily facility operations and client needs with staff.
• Transport clients to services and appointments as needed.
• Maintain case records and documentation per agency policies.
• Ensure safety and crisis prevention within scope of practice.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and trainings.
