Job summary

Telos seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead the residential program on their assigned shift, ensuring safety, supervision, and consistent programming. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Staff Manager and collaborates with the Student Life Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience in the behavioral health field.
• Significant crisis prevention and de-escalation experience.
• Exceptional relationship skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to receive and act on instruction with reliability and timeliness.
• Willingness to obtain a BCI clearance and maintain boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential program safely and effectively during the assigned shift.
• Supervise staff, monitor students, and enforce routines and plans.
• Respond to crises, coordinate crisis-prevention, de-escalation, and safety interventions.
• Document incidents, communicate with the Staff Manager, and ensure follow-up.
• Coach and train staff, provide real-time feedback, and address performance concerns.
• Coordinate with Student Life Coordinator on programming and logistics.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and shift documentation are accurate and timely.
