Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises residential staff; assigns work and tracks attendance.
• Develops and evaluates daily educational, therapeutic or recreational programs.
• Supervises shifts, maintains staff-to-youth ratios per licensing standards.
• Performs inspections, searches, and restraining procedures when needed.
• Prepares reports and documentation per standards and policies.
• Makes critical decisions during emergencies; conducts crisis sessions as warranted.
• Serves as backup to staff; may administer medications and transport youths.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
