Job summary

Shelter House is seeking a Residential Coordinator to provide 24/7 awake coverage, crisis intervention, and supervision for residents at the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients, coordinate with case managers, and help maintain a safe living environment.

Responsibilities include documenting client interactions, aiding with basic needs, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's in human services or related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Valid Driver's License required and ability to transport clients when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour awake coverage and supervision of the shelter.
• Serve as the first point of contact for client needs and crisis support.
• Document interactions in the daily log and coordinate with case managers.
• Assist with administration of medication delivery and security as needed.
• Manage front desk operations to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and training; ensure compliance with agency policies.
