Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Complete Health Department Food Protection 15 hour course and pass exam; become certified Food Handler.
• Must obtain Annual PPD Test.
• May be required to become First Aid/CPR certified.
• May be required to become certified in overdose prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Follow universal precautions and security/privacy policies.
• Inform clients of program changes in meetings.
• Assist with client bed-checks and dorm inspections.
• Distribute personal care and laundry items; manage bed linens.
• Prepare kitchen and dining areas; heat and serve meals.
• Escort clients as needed.
• Support planning of social/peer events for clients.
