Job summary

CAMBA in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Full-time Residential Aide for its Short Term Housing Program. You will conduct security rounds, maintain logs, and support residents in a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include completing incident reports within 24 hours, coordinating with supervisors and funders, and upholding client confidentiality. A basic education and strong communication skills are required; a Security Guard Certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend written and oral instructions (work orders).
• Basic math to accomplish maintenance tasks and to document accomplished tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct at least 9 security rounds per shift.
• Complete all security and fire logs accurately daily.
• Submit incident reports for review within 24 hours.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Control pedestrian access and traffic inside facilities to maintain order and security.
