Chimes in Pikesville, MD is seeking a House Manager to oversee a residential home and supervise direct care staff, ensuring quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

You will train staff, manage budgets and petty cash, coordinate with nurses, maintain records, and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations. This full-time role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with persons who have a developmental disability in a group residence and management/supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Experience managing budgets and household supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of the home in compliance with regulations and agency standards.
• Provide supervision and training to individuals to promote growth toward their highest potential.
• Oversee Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain service and medication books and audit forms; report errors promptly.
• Coordinate staff training and support ongoing staff development.
• Manage household budgets, petty cash, food orders, and individuals' funds.
