Job summary

Ucp-Seguin-of-Greater-Chicago is seeking a Community Living Coordinator to monitor Intermittent CILA Services, Home and Community Based respite services, and Semi-independent Living homes, ensuring activities fit IFP goals and DHS standards.

The role includes supervising staff, providing orientation and training, and maintaining 24/7 pager coverage as required. A preferred bachelor's degree in a social service field and relevant experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's degree in social services, psychology, or related field as required by the IL Department of Human Services (DHS).
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting; previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring and oversight of Intermittent CILA Services, Home and Community Based respite services, and Semi-independent Living homes to align with IFP goals and DHS licensing requirements.
• Supervise staff: orient, train, schedule, evaluate, discipline, commend, and direct daily activities with measurable performance criteria.
• Carry and respond to Agency pager within departmental timeframes 24/7, except during approved leave or supervisor arrangements.
