Job summary

Opportunity Partners is seeking a Residential Program Supervisor II to help adults with disabilities live independently in their homes and participate in the community. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a wage of $21.00 per hour, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure quality person-centered services.

Qualifications

• Designated Coordinator qualifications must be met as described in the article.
• Experience in direct care for persons with disabilities or vulnerable adults is required.
• Education and training related to human services, education, or health is valued.
• Minimum of 50 hours of related education and four years of full-time direct care experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the individual planning process with each person served.
• Collaborate with care teams and facilitate team meetings.
• Promote hobbies and recreational activities for residents.
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and provide medication administration.
• Support independence and living skills development.
• Provide education and problem solving on safety, finances, and self-advocacy.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and train staff on health and support needs.
• Manage staffing schedules to meet support needs and coordinate with the program manager.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services/education/health

Associate degree in related field

Postsecondary diploma in related field

Educational/training hours + 4 years direct care experience
