Job summary

You will supervise program specialists and supervisors, and hold ultimate responsibility for staff under your purview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of managerial or director-level experience in human services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to fulfill the agency mission and ensure health and safety.
• Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values and exceptional performance.
• Review regulations to ensure compliance through policy development and training, specifically 55 Pa. Code Chapters 6100 & 6400.
• Ensure programs reflect person-centered practices across the Residential Department.
• Mentor, train and develop direct reports ensuring 24-hour coverage.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate Residential Supervisors and Specialists.
• Provide direct support during staffing shortages and as needed in Community Homes.
• Oversee admissions and referrals with the Executive Director.
• Develop and update policies and procedures; ensure regulatory documentation is current and accurate.
• Monitor QA&I activities and assist with audits, incidents, and corrective action plans.
