The Arc of Somerset County seeks a dedicated professional to act as a liaison and advocate for consumers, coordinating involvement in support groups and community activities in New Jersey. The role includes ensuring NJISP compliance and overseeing health-related issues with clear staff communication.

You will manage residential operations, supervise staff, and ensure licensing, Medicaid, HUD, and DDD regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.

Responsabilités

• Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinator for consumer involvement in support groups and other integrated community activities.
• Ensure implementation of the New Jersey Individual Service Plan (NJISP).
• Oversee all consumer medical, medication, and health issues, ensuring communication to staff and other stakeholders using documentation and logs.
• Foster open, supportive communication with consumers, families, and community agencies.
• Oversee daily operations of the apartment building, including scheduling, staff coverage, activities, transportation, safety, and upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, Medicaid, HUD, and DDD regulations, and agency policies.
