The Arc of Somerset is hiring for a full-time role focused on coordinating consumer involvement, administering NJISP, and ensuring health and safety across residential operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinator for consumer involvement in support groups and integrated community activities.
• Ensure implementation of the New Jersey Individual Service Plan (NJISP).
• Oversee all consumer medical, medication, and health issues, ensuring communication to staff and stakeholders with proper documentation.
• Foster open and supportive communication with consumers, families, and community agencies.
• Oversee daily operations of the apartment building, including scheduling, staff coverage, consumer activities, transportation, safety, and upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, Medicaid, HUD, and DDD regulations and agency policies.
• Maintain documentation per licensing, Medicaid, and agency requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Assistant Managers and direct care staff.
• Monitor site health and safety standards.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and performance management of residential staff.
• Maintain communication with Director of Adult Services, staff, families, guardians, and external providers.
• Facilitate team meetings and provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities.
• Serve as the primary HUD compliance liaison for the apartment building.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated support.
