Job summary

Prime Residential is seeking a Service Technician II for Vue at The Lake in Sacramento to manage maintenance requests, prep vacant apartments, and uphold community standards. You will handle appliance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety tasks while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and prospects.

You will participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, maintain strict documentation in our mobile facilities app, and collaborate with a team that values reliability,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
• On-call rotation participation is required.
• Valid driver’s license for community vehicles/golf carts.
• Multifamily housing experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance on appliances, building exteriors, doors, locks, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, and safety equipment.
• Prepare and update reports, work orders, and trackers.
• Inspect vacated apartments and prepare for new residents to meet market-ready standards.
• Conduct routine fire and life/safety inspections and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance and service requests in the mobile facilities app.
• Respond to resident inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain safe conditions and address issues quickly.
• Keep utility cut-offs and property layout maps in mind.
• Maintain grounds cleanliness and report service needs.
• Manage inventory of spare parts for common repairs.
