Job summary

OneWall Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service transit and lifestyle-oriented properties in the Maryland area. You will perform repairs, maintain plumbing and electrical systems, and assist with moving items while following safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification, a year of general maintenance experience, strong customer relations, and the ability to work evenings or weekends when needed. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year general maintenance experience; plumbing/electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for resident communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.
