Job summary

Legend Management Group is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical integrity of our apartment communities in Maryland and Virginia. You will assist in resolving service requests, performing repairs, and turnover work while reporting to the Service Manager.

The role includes hands-on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, prep of vacant units for market readiness, and ongoing preventative maintenance. Weekend or evening work and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months+ experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• HVAC Type I & II, EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work with service and office team to provide exceptional customer service to resolve maintenance issues for residents.
• Show care for residents through excellent service request resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain building safety and cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Be willing to work weekends or evenings and be on-call for emergencies.
