Job summary

OneWall Communities LLC is seeking an experienced Service Technician with HVAC experience to manage day‑to‑day maintenance at our Baltimore community. You will handle general maintenance, plumbing, electrical tasks, basic carpentry, and repairs to building systems, plus make‑ready renovations as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience and HVAC certification, with an emphasis on safety, resident communication, and timely service completion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.
