Job summary

Hope Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. You will educate customers, present option sheets, and help them choose the best service and financing plans.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
• Proven track record in soldering, fixture installation, leak detection and repair.
• Continued education and training.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
• Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.
• Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the plumbing system to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Physically capable of going through crawlspaces and attics when necessary.
• Educate customers and provide detailed option sheets with the right products and services.
• Assist customers in choosing the best financing options and maintenance plans.
• Make repairs and properly test for functionality and leaks.
• Exceed revenue goals and maintain professional, knowledgeable conduct.
• Win new referrals and repeat business by building trust with customers.
• Coordinate with customer service and dispatch for overall success of the business.
• Keep a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Participate in trainings, meetings and company events.
• Train and mentor apprentices for quick, accurate repairs and installations.

• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
