Job summary

Hope Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Indianapolis seeks an experienced HVAC Technician. You will troubleshoot and repair residential systems, perform maintenance, and educate customers while identifying safety and efficiency improvements. Qualifications

• Three or more years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• EPA certification required; knowledge of local codes appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing on furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, mini-splits, and air quality equipment.
• Navigate crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Educate customers and present repair and replacement options.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet service goals.
• Mentor apprentices and participate in trainings.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Navigate crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Educate customers and provide repair and replacement options.
• Present financing and maintenance plan options.
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Meet and exceed service and revenue goals.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds trust and generates referrals.
• Partner with customer service and dispatch teams to ensure success.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and job site.
• Participate in training, meetings, and company events.
• Mentor and train apprentices.
• Complete invoices, timecards, and documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Three (3)+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, airflow, refrigeration principles, and electrical troubleshooting.
• EPA Certification required.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and industry best practices.
• Experience performing repairs, maintenance, and customer-facing service work.
