Coolray Electrical Services is seeking a Residential Service Electrician to diagnose, repair, install, and upgrade electrical systems in homes. You will educate customers, ensure safety, and maintain high standards of workmanship while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of residential and/or light commercial electrical experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• State Electrical License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and replacements in residential homes.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical safety inspections and maintenance evaluations.
• Present repair and upgrade options clearly and professionally to homeowners.
• Educate customers on electrical safety, energy efficiency, and available solutions.
• Safely work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, garages, and other residential environments.
• Follow all company policies and local, state, and national electrical codes.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and replacements in residential homes
• Conduct comprehensive electrical safety inspections and maintenance evaluations

• Utilize electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and verify repairs
• Accurately complete service documentation, invoices, and customer records
• Collect payments and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
• Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and cleanliness of company vehicles
• Collaborate effectively with dispatch, customer service, and management teams
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and local, state, and national electrical codes

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of residential and/or light commercial electrical experience
• Proven experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• State Electrical License preferred but not required
