Job summary

Parker and Sons is hiring Journeyman level Service Electricians to join a team of energetic professionals delivering excellent customer service daily. You will handle electrical tasks from troubleshooting to service upgrades, focused on quality work and compliance with local and national codes.

We seek experienced residential service electricians with 5+ years in the field; Service Titan and Generac experience is a plus, and extensive customer service experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years residential wiring experience; journeyman preferred.
• Read blueprints, run conduits, terminate devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding NEC standards.
• Maintain a clean working area to increase customer loyalty.
• Educate customers on upgrades to complete immediately or later.
• Estimate and invoice repairs and projects accurately.
• Document work with before/after photos.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.
• Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.

Our Electricians manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting/maintenance, and service upgrades while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide general electrical repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes.

What Will I Do?

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
• Educating and offering the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Minimum of 3-4 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System
• Journeyman level Electricians preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Experience with Service Titan a plus!
• Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
• Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
• Maintain well-groomed appearanceand keep a clean uniform and work shoes
