Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Patrol Driver for a gated community in Huntington Beach, CA. You will manage visitor registration, access control, and site patrols while delivering strong customer service.

The role is full-time on swing shifts with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. Applicants must meet minimum security requirements and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors while performing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm, professional problem-solving; notify relevant personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and following visitor-management procedures.
