Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Residential Driver in North Liberty. The role involves safely operating a collection truck, serving residential customers, and ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclables in line with company policies.

Reports to the Operations Supervisor. Candidates should have a High school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, with preferred prior driving experience. Local travel and DOT safety focus are required.

Formación

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks and related equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret route sheets and maps
• Familiarity with tablets or route tracking apps
• Ability to enter service notes and complete route information electronically
• Comfort using handheld scanners, GPS, and other digital tools

Responsabilidades

• Operate residential collection truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on assigned routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors regarding issues or delays
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
• Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when necessary
