Job summary

Erie Home is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, install, and maintain residential roofing projects. You will work on roofs, supervise subcontractors, and interact with homeowners to ensure satisfaction while supporting office tasks.

The role requires at least 3 years roofing experience, a valid driver's license, OSHA certification, and the ability to lift 65 lbs. A company vehicle is provided and training for forklift use may be offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on residential roofing experience required.
• Typical work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility during peak seasons or increased workload.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or a strong safety mindset).
• Willingness to become forklift certified.
• Experience with Office 365, Salesforce, or other CRM software is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Walk on roofs safely and comfortably.
• Supervise subcontractors installing exterior products.
• Diagnose and fix problems efficiently.
• Interact with homeowners, ensuring a satisfactory experience.
• Maintain a field presence 80% of the time.
• Handle office responsibilities 20% of the time.
