Job summary

Heidler Roofing is seeking a Commercial Service Roofing Mechanic to support customers with roof service projects, leak investigations, and repairs in a safe, productive, and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities include loading materials, tearing off roofing, using tools, protecting property, setting up access zones, and performing BUR, EPDM, and metal roof repairs. Equal emphasis on safety and site cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience with roofing materials and safe handling on job sites.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto vehicles and jobsite as needed.
• Tear off roofing materials and transport debris.
• Use basic power tools (screw gun, circular saw) and other equipment.
• Inspect PPE and wear it properly.
• Protect property and work area on site.
• Set up controlled access zones and secure the work area.
• Rig materials for roof work and perform repairs on BUR, EPDM, and metal roofs.
• Install insulation crickets, blocking, flashing, vents, and drains.
• Clean roof area and keep tools organized on site.
• Document repairs and support FSC tickets.
