Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is hiring a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor in Weymouth, MA. You will help adults with mental illness live more independently by setting goals, aiding daily living activities, and promoting engagement in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities include medication assistance, transport coordination, and implementing treatment plans to improve outcomes. Requires HS diploma and driving license; CPR/First Aid/MAP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework in psychology, human services, social work or health sciences is a plus.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in health and human services is valued.
• CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required.

Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with: goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation and administration of medication. Implement treatment plans that help clients with reaching goals and symptom management. Help clients to develop independence and enhance quality of life.

Education: - HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences towards an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

• Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
