Aspire Health and Community Services in Massachusetts is hiring Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors to help adults with mental illness live as independently as possible. You will assist clients with goal setting, daily living activities, meaningful engagement, socialization, transportation, and medication administration.

Education: HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services or health sciences towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with: goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation and administration of medication. Implement treatment plans that help clients with reaching goals and symptom management. Help clients to develop independence and enhance quality of life.

Education:- HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences towards an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

• Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.
• We provide ongoing training and development
• Patience and an understanding and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities
• Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and safe driving record, driving experience ...access to a personal vehicle required at some sites
• CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
