Job summary

TPC Wellness in Ironton, OH, is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to provide supervision and supportive care for residents in a residential program. The role blends safety monitoring, documentation, and transportation with a focus on recovery-oriented practices.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a CDCA certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days with company support).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Active CDCA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; TPC Wellness will assist.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Complete resident counts and facility check.
• Write incident reports, shift reports, and daily logs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident orientation.
• Conduct investigations and communicate findings.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Perform facility, property, and personal searches.
• Monitor medication distribution.
• Process resident mail, requests, and property.
• Transport residents to appointments, work sites, and court appearances.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and address behavioral concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, debriefings, and training.
