Job summary

TPC Wellness in Jackson, OH is hiring a Recovery Support Specialist to provide structured, recovery-focused supervision and support for residents. The role combines supervision, documentation, and coordination to foster accountability and progress in recovery.

The position requires a valid driver's license, a High School Diploma or GED, and an active CDCA certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days with company support). Flexible hours and a team-centered environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Active CDCA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; company will assist.
• Ability to apply CBT principles and recovery-focused program practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Complete resident counts and facility checks.
• Write incident reports, shift reports, and daily logs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident orientation.
• Conduct investigations and communicate findings.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Monitor medication distribution.
• Transport residents to appointments, work sites, and court appearances.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and address behavioral concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, debriefings, and training.
