Job summary

TPC Wellness is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to provide supervised, recovery-focused support in a residential setting in Mt Orab, OH. The role combines resident supervision, documentation, transportation, and admissions/discharges support to help individuals maintain accountability and progress in their recovery journey.

You will work flexible hours in a part-time or full-time capacity, with opportunities for training and growth within a structured program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CDCA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days with company assistance.
• Ability to apply CBT principles and recovery-focused program practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Complete resident counts and facility check.
• Write incident reports, shift reports, and daily logs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident orientation.
• Conduct investigations and communicate findings.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Perform facility, property, and personal searches.
• Monitor medication distribution.
• Process resident mail, requests, and property.
• Transport residents to appointments, work sites, and court appearances.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and address behavioral concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, debriefings, and training.

Role Summary

The Recovery Support Specialist helps maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals in recovery. The position combines resident supervision, documentation, transportation, admissions/discharges support, behavioral coaching, and compliance monitoring.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
