Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist to join Transitional Support Services, providing short-term residential support to individuals in early recovery from substance use. Responsibilities include client safety, intake screening, and documentation, supporting daily living skills, and aftercare planning.

The role emphasizes a positive presence in the lives of clients, with a schedule of 40 hours per week (Friday–Tuesday, 2:30–11:00 PM) and a pay range of $20.00–$24.38 per hour.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checks.
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor..
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
