Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Transitional Support Services program in Lynn, MA. This per diem role supports adults in early recovery with short-term residential services, helping clients set goals, engage in group sessions, and plan for aftercare as part of a compassionate care team.

You will collaborate with supervisors, monitor client progress, and perform routine documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in reaching their personal goals and tracking their milestones, helping them to achieve success at whatever stage they are at in their recovery
• Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor and fellow colleagues to ensure client progress
• Observes and supervises buildings and grounds
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures
