Job summary

Volunteers of America Mid-States is seeking a Recovery Support Technician to monitor and support the residential program’s safety and daily operations in Manchester, KY. You will help ensure policy adherence, maintain records, and assist with client supervision and transportation as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, sobriety where applicable, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days. Prior experience in a treatment setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 12 months sobriety where applicable.
• Two years post-secondary education preferred.
• Two years prior experience in a treatment facility preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation control of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
• Ensure client’s compliance with VOA Mid-States policies and house rules.
• Maintain chronologically written records of events during the shift.
• Maintain client sign-in/sign-out log.
• Make periodic tours of the facility and grounds.
• Monitor number of clients and their behavior hourly.
• Complete required documentation.
• Attend training and clinical supervision.
• Provide transportation.
• Provide childcare if needed.
• Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• PQI duties as assigned by Supervisor and PQI Committee.
• Other duties assigned.
